Roots and Pride 2025 Celebration
The Roots and Pride 2025 Celebration was a joyful and powerful gathering dedicated to honouring the contributions, culture and stories of migrant communities across the UK. It brought people together to celebrate who we are, recognise the journeys that shaped us and highlight the richness migrants bring to modern Britain.
Throughout the celebration, guests experienced storytelling, culture, music and community pride. Inspirational voices, creative showcases and shared moments of reflection made the day both meaningful and unforgettable. The event shone a spotlight on the resilience, creativity and impact of migrant communities, reminding us of the strength found in our differences and the unity created when we stand in pride together.
Families, schools, community groups and organisations all came together, making Roots and Pride 2025 a vibrant, inclusive and deeply moving milestone. It was a beautiful testament to the stories that bind us, the heritage we honour and the future we’re shaping as one.
Roots and Pride 2025 was funded by iWoman Academy CIC, founded by Ngunan Adamu, and proudly hosted and supported by Liverpool John Moores University.
